In 2003, I founded XIII Design, LLC to provide illustration, graphic design and art direction services to clients in the music, video game and entertainment industries.
I've worked for many years designing and developing merchandise for high-profile rock and pop artists, including Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Lady Gaga, Usher, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Slipknot, Disturbed, Slayer, Marilyn Manson and lots of others.
I love most of all to create intricate and beautiful pen drawings that have a gothic feel coupled with a slightly weird sense of humor. I also enjoy being challenged with projects that require solutions beyond the scope of my personal style. I'd rather take a risk and try something new than rest on past successes.
Working in the fast-paced merchandise industry has made me flexible, accurate, quick and consistent. Working on my own art and illustration keeps me in touch with the love that I have for traditional drawing and painting.
